The China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) is a worldwide renowned exhibition, which presents the most advanced optoelectronic technologies and innovations. CIOE was established in 1999 in Shenzhen. This annual event has been held annually for the past eleven years at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The world's largest Optoelectronic expo, it has been an UFI-approved event since 2007.

The 12th CIOE (CIOE 2010) will once again be held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, September 6 to 9, 2010 over a total exhibition area of 70,000 sqm. It will comprise three concurrent sub-expositions, focus on optical communications, sensors, laser & infrared applications; precision optics; and LEDs. More than 2,000 exhibitors are expected to present the most advanced optoelectronic technologies and products at CIOE 2010.

The concurrent events and various on-site activities will present many highlights and revelations to the optoelectronic world. A series of professional forums, including the LED Lighting Technology and Development, the China's Optics Forum-International Conference for Applied Optics and the China Optical Communication Seminar, will fully discuss topics in the fields of optical communications, lasers and infrared technologies, applied optics, and LED lighting etc. Government bodies, scientific academies, trade associations and enterprises will be invited to dicuss industry situations and trends. Speciallly arranged presentations on New Proudcts and Technologies will provide excellent marketing opportunities for the exhibitors. In addition, on-site activities such as round-table discussions, and face to face sourcing meetings will further enhance the communication between exhibitors and trade buyers.
