On April 22, 2009, the CIOE delegation visited the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) in Moscow. Mr. Yang Xiancheng, General Manager of the CIOE met with Mr. Yuri F. Azarov, Mr. Sergey A. Kuzmin and Ms. Vera P. Nekrassova. After discussing the optoelectronic industry development in China and Russia, they explored the opportunities of future cooperation between the MCCI and the CIOE. Mr. Yang Xiancheng sincerely invited the senior representatives of the MCCI to visit the CIOE 2009.

One day later, on April 23, 2009, the CIOE team participated at the exhibition Photonics 2009 in Moscow. During the exhibition, Mr. Yang Xiancheng met Prof. Ivan B. Kovsh, President of the Laser Association Russia and discussed with him the market development of laser technology in both countries and future mutual co-operations between the association and the CIOE.
