The 12th China International Optoelectronic Exposition

Unprecedentedly Large Expo for Optoelectronics

Shenzhen, China - The 12th China International Optoelectronic Exposition(CIOE 2010) will be held on September 6-9, 2010 at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, China, with unprecedented larger number of exhibits and advanced technologies than ever. The world leading manufacturers of the optoelectronic industry will be present at the CIOE 2010, to show the latest products and technologies and reveal the hot technologies and market trend.

Relying on the rapid growth of the optoelectronic industries in recent years, the total exhibition area, the number of exhibitors and proportions of international exhibitors and buyers of the CIOE 2010 are expected to hit another record high. According to the organizing committee of CIOE, as of today, the total exhibition area of 80,000 sqm has already been booked out.

"This year the booth preselling is very hot, especially for the Optical Communication ( Hall 1) and LED(Hall 2 & Hall 3). The booths in Hall 1,2,3 were booked out much earlier than last year. In addition, the exhibition area of these two sectors is increased more than 30 percent over the same period of last year." Said Mr. Yang Xiancheng, Secretary General of CIOE.

Besides the Optical Communications, Sensors, Lasers and Infrared Applications Expo, Precision Optics Expo and LED Expo, another important event, the International IC-China Conference & Exhibition (IIC-China 2010) will concurrently be held on-site this year. IIC-China is the largest authoritative event of the country for IC application technologies and hi-quality components show. It has been held successfully for 14 times, concentrating on presenting the up-to-date IC technologies and the most advanced IC application solutions. The cooperation between CIOE organizing committee and Global Sources, will formally introduce the IIC-China 2010(Fall) to be held concurrently with the CIOE 2010, aiming at promoting an effective extension of the on-site optical and optoelectronic industry chains. These reciprocal resources integration will bring the greatest win-win for both parties.

With respect to international market, CIOE has reinforced the promotion and booth selling overseas, especially the marketing actitivities to countries or regions including the U.S.A, U.K, Europe, Japan and Taiwan, has greatly risen the international reputation of CIOE and attracted oversea pavilions, including Germany Pavilion, U.S.A Pavilion, Canada Pavilion, etc. Besides, CIOE enhances the invitation of international buyers. Many oversea delegation will register to participate in CIOE 2010, such as, UK delegation, French delegation, Korean delegation, Israel delegation, etc.

Since the CIOE established in 1999, it has impressed the exhibitors deeply with respect to both the number and quality of visitors. It is expected that over 2,500 exhibitors, more than 80,000 visitors and professional buyers will attend the CIOE 2010. And many domestic and oversea famous optoelectronic manufacturers will be present at this grand event.

Various On-site Activities: China Optoelectronic Seminar(COES) 2010 completely catch eyes of the industry. Besides the China Optical Communication Technology and Development Forum 2010, China Optics Forum- International Conference for Applied Optics 2010, LED Lighting Technology and Development Forum 2010 and IIC-China Conference 2010(Fall); the China Optoelectronic Investment Conference 2010, Optoelectronic Technology Training, New Products and Technologies Presentation Forum, and Business Meetings for Optoelectronic Enterprises will once again be held concurrently.
