All these institutions and authorities said that they would arrange the most outstanding technical backbones and top management to participate in “2014 Optical Communication Technology and Development Forum” held by CIOEC and deliver speeches on “Optical Communication Network and Technology Innovation & Development Session”, “Smart ODN and Optical Access Technical Application Session” and “Photonic Integration Technology and Optoelectronic Device Technology” which are affiliated to the Development Forum.

With its predecessor of Research Institute of Post and Telecommunication of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, China Academy of Telecommunication Research of MIIT was established in the mid-1950s.
