China's First! Hypersen Launches 3D Line Confocal Sensor
On April 27, 2021, Hypersen Technologies (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. officially released China's first 3D line confocal sensor to help the localization of industrial-grade high-precision optical measurement sensors.

The "square size, black housing, symmetrical patterned face" shows its rigidity and maturity, which is the Hypersen's 3D line confocal sensor.
Hypersen HPS-LCF series 3D line confocal sensors have excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and suitable for high dynamic measurement tasks. The excellent surface filling technology can quickly adjust the exposure time, adapt to the fast-changing reflections to ensure high-precision measurement. The products can be widely used in 3C precision inspection, industrial semiconductor measurement, lithium battery inspection and other fields.
The principle of 3D line confocal sensor is to extend the focal halo range of different color light by using a special lens and optical system to form a special amplified chromatic aberration, so that it will correspond to a precise wavelength of light focused on the measured object according to different distances from the measured object to the lens. By measuring the wavelength of the reflected wave, the precise distance from the measured object to the lens and the 3D shape of the surface can be obtained.
The light intensity of the reflected light does not affect the measurement result. This means that the measured distance result may be constant regardless of how much reflected light is reflected back from the object under test, a characteristic that ensures excellent surface adaptation of the material.
Therefore, the 3D line confocal sensors of the Hypersen enable highly accurate and reliable measurements even if the object is a strongly light-absorbing material, such as black rubber; or transparent materials, such as glass or liquid.
