Precision optical filter

The filter is also called interference filter. It is mainly based on the interference principle of light. By designing and changing the structure of the film system and the optical parameters of the film, various spectral characteristics can be obtained, which can be used to control, adjust and change the transmission, reflection, absorption, polarization or phase state of light waves. In other words, the filter evaporates the thin film material with different refractive index to the optical substrate through the vacuum coating machine, so as to achieve different optical effects. When the mixed light of multiple wavelengths passes through the filter, the interference effect is produced due to the different refractive index, which leads to the very high transmittance of the light at a specific wavelength, while the light of other wavelengths is reflected or absorbed.

The filter products of yimili photoelectric are classified according to spectral band, spectral characteristics, coating materials and application characteristics.

Spectral band: ultraviolet filter, visible light filter, infrared light filter and far infrared light filter;

Spectral characteristics: narrow band filter, band-pass filter, cut-off filter, spectral filter, neutral density filter and reflection filter;

Hard film filter not only refers to the film hardness, but also its laser damage threshold. Therefore, it is widely used in laser system, while soft film filter is mainly used in biochemical analyzer.

Band pass type: refers to the light passing through the selected band and cut off through the light outside the band. The main optical indexes are: central wavelength (CWL), half bandwidth (FWHM). It is divided into narrow band filter and band-pass filter.

Short wave pass type (also known as low wave pass): the light shorter than the selected wavelength passes through, and the light higher than that wavelength cuts off. For example, infrared cut-off filter, ir-650.

Long wave pass type (also known as high wave pass): light longer than the selected wavelength passes through, and light shorter than that wavelength cuts off, such as infrared filter, lp-700.
